Only a few days remain before 4-H’ers, families and friends will congregate and experience the Clay County 4-H Fair. The Fair will occur this year from July 14th through the 20th. We plan to have another great fair with many of your favorite attractions, plus a few new things as well. Incredible coloring

These children enjoyed the local premiere of “The Incredibles 2” at The Walnut Theater on June 15th. The theater partnered with Jenni Marietta State Farm Insurance for the event. Children attending the event received “superhero capes” and there was a coloring contest. The 4th and 5th-grade winner was Marleigh Pritchard. Alba Morris won the preschool division. The Adult Coloring program starts at 6 p.m. upstairs by the fireplace at the Brazil Public Library. FREE coloring pages are provided. Each month is a different theme with a set of pages to pick from; such as in March was Easter, April was spring, May was a hodge podge of designs, and in June there were Summer Reading themed ones using Libraries Rock. The theme set for July hasn’t bee determined yet...
