Clay County Commissioner Jim Bowman has resigned. Today will be his last day as commissioner, Bowman said Thursday morning. Bowman cited "personal reasons" for his departure and said future plans are part of his personal reasons. He said those plans do not involve politics. The Republican gave his letter of resignation and had a short conversation with Republican Party Chair Patti Foxx on Tuesday. -
