Museum in need of new boiler as winter approaches

The Clay County Historical Society Museum is in need of a new boiler, Board President Vickie Mace told members and guests gathered for the December meeting on Monday night. Indiana Supreme Court to send attorneys to help families

Judge Joseph Trout is working with the Indiana Supreme Court to provide services to solve family issues. They “try to get cases resolved outside of court,” Trout said. With the permission of the County Commissioners, the Circuit Court judge is working on an agreement with the Indiana Supreme Court to allow that court to send attorneys and other personnel to the Clay County Courthouse once a month to offer services free of charge to families...
