UPDATED: More than $1.1 million coming to Clay County through a federal block grant program

The City of Brazil will soon be looking sharper once facade improvements are made to seven downtown buildings. Mayor Brian Wyndham said Thursday morning he received word from the office of Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch the city has received a grant totaling $461,491 through the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs.
