Traffic backed up in Clay County Saturday because of two fatal accidents on I-70

As first responders spent most of Saturday working to clear two separate accident scenes on Interstate 70, the traffic backed up in Brazil as motorists tried to find alternate routes of travel. The first accident happened near the State Road 46 exit in Vigo County, involving two semis and five passenger vehicles according to Indiana State Police. ISP has confirmed one person died in this accident. The second fatal accident happened in the westbound lanes a few minutes after the first accident...
