The next Staunton Community Center Dinner, prepared by the Lady Volunteers, will be next Friday, March 29 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. This month’s menu features Beef and Noodles, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, freezer slaw, homemade rolls, desserts, and coffee, iced tea, or lemonade. She was born April 23, 1928 in Dusseldorf, Germany, the daughter of Bernard Nicklasch and Maria Buesgen Nicklasch. She completed school in Germany, and at the age of 23, she moved to Clay County with her family. ...
