Indianapolis man faces felony charge of impersonating a public safety officer

After a lengthy investigation into a report of a possible impersonating a police officer, officials released details Thursday about the arrest of an Indianapolis man. According to court documents, the Clay County Prosecutor’s Office filed paperwork in Clay Circuit Court against John C. Warren on Oct. 25. Warren is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 25 for an initial appearance on the charge of a level 6 felony impersonating a public servant, posing as a law enforcement officer.
