Local business celebrates 50 years

Timberland celebrated its 50th anniversary at the store's current location on U.S. 40 near the west end of Brazil with hundreds of friends of the Emmert family on Tuesday. In the past 50 years, the company has expanded into a manufacturing facility on White Rock Road and another facility at Indianapolis.

The treasures of the past and present finds will add beauty to the naked tree with a weak limb. We will not take-in the smell of pine from the well-shaped artificial tree like the real one. Age put a few wrinkles on her trunk as well. I will stand beside her, face her and let her know she’s not alone...
