Clay City Band Boosters fish fry helps support the Clay City Imperial Regiment

Support for the Clay City Imperial Regiment was out in droves Saturday evening to attend the Clay City Band Boosters fish fry at Goshorn Park. Volunteers said the cars were lined up before the event started at 4 p.m., and kept coming to the point they worried they would run out of fish. Everyone was patient and practicing social distancing during the event, which organizers believe will ultimately be a bigger fundraiser than last year...

Volunteers at the American Legion Post #2, 10 North Depot Street, Brazil, confirmed they upped the number of lunches available to give away last Friday, May 8, to more than 600 pulled-pork sandwiches and seasoned green beans. If the green beans ran out, bags of potato chips were waiting to be swapped in to fill the containers for the early birds lining up before the event started at noon. ...
