Last Tuesday night, as the Class 3A Northview girls basketball Sectional opening round game between Brownstown Central and Owen Valley was taking place, Northview athletic director Scott Buell was preparing for what was to come. With meteorologists around the Wabash Valley calling for ice and snow headed towards Clay County on Wednesday and Thursday, he made the decision, while also speaking with IHSAA assistant commissioner Sandra Walter, to postpone the rest of the opening round and the semifinal round to Friday and Saturday with the championship game moving to Tuesday.. ...
