If there was a lasting image from Thursday night’s annual Chad Smith Invitational hosted by Sullivan High School, it was the finish for Northview’s No. 1, 2, 3 and 4 runners in the girls race. Running together throughout the warm August evening, seniors Katie Morrison and Halle Miller and juniors Ellia Hayes and Gnister Grant came up with the idea to cross the finish line together, showing a sign of team unity, something the Lady Knights have been motivated by this fall – and have had the last three-plus years.. ...
