Deloris Muriel Blubaugh, 99, passed away on December 5, 2022, at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis. Deloris was born to the late Rodney J. Bixler Sr. and Florence May (DeWees) Bixler on March 20, 1923, in Terre Haute. Deloris was a member of the Truth Apostolic Tabernacle for several years. The Clay Community School Corporation announced who will be the chief of police for the corporation Thursday night. The interview committee held interviews and deliberated with each candidate before recommending Josh Clarke. The board approved Clarke’s position by a vote of 5/0. During every dead ball fans could see the smiling faces of the Lady Miners as they are now 9-0 after a 55-20 win over Clay City Thursday.
