The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a slew of watches and warnings today, Monday, Feb. 27, in response to severe weather. As of 1 p.m., a Tornado Warning issued for nearby Putnam County officially expired. However, “radar-indicated rotation” was reported as early as 12:13 p.m. in eastern Clay and western Putnam counties. The alleged tornado was detected 7 miles east of Brazil, or 22 miles east of Terre Haute, and was moving northeast at 50mph...
