Zeus is a rescue dog on a special mission Friday, March 31. It all began when his new owner Zina Hughes took Zeus for a walk on the southwest side of Brazil. Zeus is a new addition to Zina’s life thanks to her friend Theresa Steele. Steele rescues dogs from shelters with euthanasia lists to give the animals a second chance at life. Northview offers glimpse into a promising season with win over Linton

After every win, Northview’s softball team jogs out to left field or right field – depending on what dugout its in on that particular night – and makes a horseshoe as they await head coach Kathy Vossmer to join them. Once she arrives, Vossmer picks out different plays – they can be big plays such as a home run or a strikeout or smaller plays that make a major difference in the outcome of the game such as a sacrifice bunt or a key defensive play – from the game and highlights them one at a time before running counter clockwise around the horseshoe while handing out double high-fives to every player while they hoot and holler in triumph.. ...

Upcoming School Board meeting to consider grant funding for therapy dogs
