Forest Park Splash Pad - Work Continues

The Splash Pad at Forest Park began to be talked about in 2019, and the public has been waiting patiently. Once Peterson Company LLC started work in May 2023, there have been some setbacks. However, the work continues throughout the winter months. “The construction is moving along. A lot of progress has been made.” said Planning and Zoning Administrator Janet McClellan. “Looking forward to the completion and opening of the Splash Pad sometime in the spring.”...

Playing its third game in four days, it was evident at the start of Saturday’s matchup with Owen Valley that Northview’s girls basketball team was battling fatigue. The Lady Knights struggled to find any offense in the first half but after regrouping during the 10-minute intermission, which allowed them to catch their breaths and rest their legs for a bit, Northview turned on the jets in the final two quarters of the game to beat Owen Valley by a score of 62-38, giving the program its third win of the week.. ...
