Open letter to thief who stole the vehicle

To the Editor:

To the person or persons who stole my granddaughter's car on Thursday, July 3, between 3-3:30 a.m., from 2030 E. Private Rd., 330 N., Center Point:

Shawna is a single mother raising three children while working at Page's. You took her only means of transportation for her job, taking two little ones to daycare, and her 8-year-old to the doctor once a week.

You also took her two car seats from the 2-year-olds. You must feel very proud of yourself.

I know your parents are.

Sadder still that you stole from someone who is trying to survive by working and not stealing from another.

If anyone has any information concerning this upstanding citizen who steals automobiles (another word is Grand Theft Auto), contact the Clay County Sheriff's Dept.

Any information would be appreciated.
