Letter to the Editor

Reader thankful for second chance

To the Editor:

I would like to testify to everyone who reads this paper. I have recently been brought out of a life that I thought I would never give up and put into a life that I thought I would never live.

I am an alcoholic and I would like to say that I found the Lord and he has saved me and washed away my sins. I was so far down into a hole about four months ago, and I called on the Lord to help me and he did just that.

I attend church every Sunday and pray to the Lord everyday now. He has done so many good things in my life in such a short time.

I am so thankful to have him in my life. I cannot explain the feeling of having such a solid rock to lean on.

I am 30 years old and I never thought I would be a servant of God at this age. I always thought the Lord was for older people. Boy was I wrong!

I could go on and on because there is so much to my testimony, but I will just leave it simple for now. I just hope the people who read this and know who I am take a good long look and realize that if I can live for Christ, then they can do it too. Anyone who knew me before knows I have made a big change for the best.

"Let go and let God."
