Habitat for Humanity of Clay County pleased with progress

To the Editor:

Habitat for Humanity of Clay County is making excellent progress on the home in Clay City.

We sincerely thank all volunteers from our community who have been working on construction Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, weather permitting.

The workers are grateful for the delicious lunches provided by area churches. We appreciate Pell's Roofing for providing free labor to roof the home.

Habitat depends on volunteers. Join us in the building and completion of the home in the weeks ahead. Contact phone numbers are 448-1159 and 443-7021.

We appreciate the donations, which enable us to buy building materials. Habitat for Humanity of Clay County has received generous monetary gifts from individuals, area churches, Rotary, Tri Kappa, Walmart, Riddell Bank, Pizza Hut, and memorial contributions.

We extend our heartfelt thanks for your support.

Many companies offer matching grants for donations made by their employees to non-profit organizations like Habitat for Humanity.

Please keep this in mind if you wish to donate. Every contribution is appreciated and we continue to need your support.

Habitat also thanks The Brazil Times and The Clay City News for their continuing support in sharing information with the Clay County community.
