Letter to the Editor

Reader favors one candidate

To the Editor:

Many Americans have watched with sadness and even horror as our beloved country has spiraled down into unbelievable debt and moral decay.

We feel leaders in every branch of our government have betrayed us; and, rather than conducting themselves as our chosen representatives, many have taken on personal agendas.

Thus, even as this letter is written, our national debt is at an unprecedented $12,000,000,000,000 (that's in trillions) and escalating rapidly, our personal healthcare is being taken over (unconstitutionally) by our government, unborn babies are (unconstitutionally) being denied their right to live, gun ownership is again (unconstitutionally) being attacked, and the strong foundation of marriage and family is being twisted and reinvented.

Too many elected officials are in favor of too many of these atrocities.

It is high time to clean house. (This year) is of the utmost urgent importance if we hope to make any positive change in this agenda. Americans who really care about the future of our children will search out the grassroots, common-sense candidates who have integrity and Godly principles.

In Indiana's District 8, we have one such candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives -- Kristi Risk, who stands head and shoulders above the rest, and whose platform is based upon strict adherence to the U.S. Constitution.

Do your homework, find out more about the candidates, then look into the faces of your children and make the decision to do what you can, with God's help, to secure a better future for those you love.

God bless the U.S.A.

Nina Morris,

Gosport
