Suggestions to get country through

To the Editor:

I have three suggestions on how to get our country through these tough times.

No. 1 -- Bring all of our troops home from the Middle East.

Those people have been fighting each other for thousands of years.

There will never be peace until our Lord Jesus returns.

No. 2 -- We should never depend on OPEC.

We have enough oil and natural gas in America.

There is no oil shortage. Just greed.

No. 3 -- Have every elected politician from dog catcher to president take a 10-percent pay cut.

That would save a lot of our money.
