'Pappy' offers thanks to all for help

To the Editor:

A big thanks to everyone who helped us out with our sixth First Responder Heroes Breakfast, Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012.

Special thanks to the Pappy's crew who volunteered to come in early, prepare and serve breakfast (even though Pappy slept in).

Thanks to Kayla Chiles and the crew from Cloverleaf Health Care for their promotion and delivery of breakfast to heroes that couldn't attend.

Special thanks to Ernie Rush for his assistance and words of respect and honor for our fallen heroes.

But most of all, thanks to our every day heroes who regularly risk life and limb to help us.
