All good things end

To the Editor:

They say "All good things come to an end."

Well, I guess the saying is true in this case.

I'm referring to an end to our famous Popcorn Festival.

A wonderful tradition here in our small town.

One we are and have been noted for all over the United States, even the Food Channel.

My family and I are so saddened by the news why? Why is it an event that people loved and has to end?

Because certain people couldn't have a beer garden? We didn't before, so why now?

Why dissolve it?

I call it selfishness on their part.

I know our family had a huge disappointment in our lives, especially the kids.
