Family grateful for thoughts

To the Editor:

We would like to thank our family, friends, and community for the kind words, caring thoughts, and generous gestures in the loss of our Kathy.

The outpouring of love and support came from near and far -- and touched every corner of our hearts.

Thank you seems so small to say to so many: To our extended family who has always been a pillar of strength to us, to the staff at Miller Memorial Chapel (especially Nick, Cindy and Marty) for their incredible support and extra little touches; to Vickie Mace at Sugar 'N Spice Florist for the gorgeous floral arrangements; to Steve McCullough and Sam Glover for the beautiful music that was the perfect tribute to a lived "her way," and to the countless other people too numerous to mention who went out of their way to lift up and support a grieving family.

Words cannot express our appreciation.
