County Council, Brazil works board to meet next week

* The Clay County Council will host a special meeting at 6 p.m. on Monday Sept. 22, in the Commissioners Courtroom inside the Clay County Courthouse.

Discussion will include binding and non-binding tax unit budget hearings and additional appropriations.

* The Brazil Board of Public Works and Safety will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, at the City Hall Council Chambers.

General business will be discussed. The public is welcome to attend.
