Woman needs help finding father's cane

To the editor:

My father made an early morning trip to Walmart on State Road 46 last week week. He left the store and left his cane in the cart. He went back to the store later that day but the cane had not been turned in.

This cane was a gift purchased in Montana and given to my dad by his girlfriend of 20-plus years. It is wooden and had an eagle-head carved on it (fitting as my father is a veteran).

Please, if you are the one who found this cane, contact me (812-240-3642) so that I may get it back to my dad. He is unsteady and needs a cane. This one also has sentimental value to him.
