Clay County Humane Society thanks anonymous benefactor

The Clay County Humane Society would like to take this opportunity to thank the very generous individual whose donation enabled critical electrical upgrades to be performed on our facility.

In November of last year, Duke Energy replaced the electrical service from 400 to 600 amps. Soon thereafter, Ketner & Sons Electrical replaced all our breaker panels and installed new fluorescent ballasts and tubing for more efficient lighting. Valley Electric Supply and Scneider/Square D donated materials necessary for the upgrade. Additionally, Paitson Brothers Heating & Air Conditioning performed repairs on the heating and cooling units. These contractors and suppliers did an excellent job in a timely and professional manner. We have already incurred some savings on our electric bill.

You have made a huge impact on the shelter by relieving us of a heavy burden. We respect your anonymity, but want to let you know how much we appreciate your philanthropy. We cannot thank you, the contractors or suppliers enough. It was such a relief this winter to no longer have to worry about the safety or comfort of the animals due to an overlooked electrical system. Thank you again for lending a helping hand.
