Missouri driver arrested on I-70 in Putnam County

GREENCASTLE--Early this morning at 1:35, Indiana State Police Trooper David E. Cox Jr. was patrolling Interstate 70 in Putnam County, when he was alerted by police dispatch to a possible impaired driver eastbound near the 43 mile marker. Trooper Cox spotted the brown 2003 Oldsmobile Bravada driving erratic in the eastbound lanes near the 48mm. After stopping the vehicle and conversing with the driver, Cox noticed several indicators of possible alcohol impairment. The driver was given a roadside field sobriety test and failed. A subsequent certified breath test at the Putnam County Jail revealed the driver was .13 percent BAC.
