Woman angry with thefts at local cemetery

To the editor:

I just need to vent about people in Brazil who steal flowers off of graves.

My mother was buried in Brazil in April of this year. Her grave is still heaping with newly dug dirt. I bought her a $200 stainless steel flower holder that clamps on the head stone and $60 worth of flowers to go in it.

My mother was very special to me and to a lot of people. It was only on her grave for less than two weeks! Any one who would steal flowers from a new grave is about as low down as you can get. Is that the caliber of people living in Brazil? I'm outraged that anyone would do such a thing.
