Kreyton has impact on many

To the editor:

I'd like to start by saying thank you to Mavery Bridgwaters and Joe Quinn ... what an inspiration to our little community. I have three grown children and I cannot even imagine what I would do if something were to happen to them, even as adults. I don't know the family personally, but to see what they are doing to no only keep their son's legacy alive, but to help students in our community is amazing.

My youngest grandson attended the same school as Kreyton; even though they didn't have much contact at school, they did have a lot of interaction at the YMCA. My grandson talks about Kreyton quite a bit and it amazes me how such a young boy who didnt have much contact with my grandson could have such a profound impact on him. My grandson participated in the 3-on-3 memorial tournament for Kreyton and he was so excited to be able to play baskeball, because he knows that is something Kreyton loved to do.

Thank you again, even through this tragedy, your "little man" will continue to make a positive impact on the lives of those in our community. We will continue to pray for you each day as we have since that cold day in January.

May God continue to Bless You in all you do as you continue to keep Kreyton's memory alive.
