Brazil couple lauds local churches

To the editor:

Kudos and accolades to all the Christians of Clay County.

The Christian churches in Clay County still preach that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savoir. There are countries in the world today that would have your head cut off or burn you alive for your faith -- and there are places in our country now that want to implement that in this country. May we all have enough faith and fortitude to always glorify Jesus no matter the consequences.

As the Holy Spirit says in 2 Corinthians 1:21-22: "It is God Who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set His seal of ownership on us, and put His Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come."

John 16:13 says: But when He, the Spirit of Truth, comes, He will guide you Into all Truth. He will not speak on His own, He will speak only what He hears, and He will tell you what is yet to come."

The Holy Spirit is the Person of God Who is "all for Jesus." Jesus said, when He comes "He will not speak of Himself. He will glorify Me." This is the exclusive attribute of the Holy Spirit.

You may be sure when you see a man wearing a hat that says "JESUS PAID IT ALL," it would be proper to say a big "Amen brother." It is the truth! Come on Believers! You wear sport-team hats with pride. Isn't Jesus more precious than a sports team.
