Wow! This is truly our community coming together to help provide literary support to our youngest citizens!

Lastly, I would like to lift up the names of some very special and giving individuals who sacrificed six months of hard work to organize this event and to raise these funds for children's literacy efforts: Mary Yelton (co-chair), Roberta Weliever, Diane Braden, Bill Schad, Katie Sims, Lindsey Mullinix, Janice Modesitt, Mavery Bridgewater, Margaret Crowley, Lisa Coughanowr, Rae Anne Howald, and Kelly Murphy. These hard-working Clay County citizens made up the 2015 Power of the Community steering committee. If you are interested in volunteering on this committee, please contact any of us, and we will include you when we come together next spring to plan our 2016 Power of the Community event.
