To the editor:

The Brazil Crisis Pregnancy Center (CPC) is an honored recipient of a grant award in the amount of $1,850 through the Wabash Valley Community Foundation for the support of our Earn While You Learn Program (EWYL Program).

CPC clients enrolled in the EWYL Program have the opportunity to learn from an array of educational materials on parenting and life skills. Participating clients are paired with a mentor who will compile lesson plans unique to their clients particular needs; empowering clients to become successful parents and proactive citizens in their communities. Clients also have the privilege of earning "Baby Bucks" where they can purchase needed items of necessity in the CPC Boutique. These items in the Boutique are supplied through the grant funds along with the upgraded educational materials.

The Brazil Crisis Pregnancy Center would like to thank the Wabash Valley Community Foundation for the approval of this grant. With these funds the CPC will be better able to serve our clients through making the EWYL Program an experience that provides the education, materials and self-confidence needed to parent successfully in today's world.

If you are interested in becoming a mentor, contact the CPC at 812-448-3444 anytime Monday through Thursday, noon to 5 p.m.
