Family says thanks to Clay City community

To the editor:

The faculty, staff, students and parents at Clay City Elementary deserve a huge thank you!

Recently our daughter, Morgan, was diagnosed with Leukemia. The outpouring of support by the school, churches, families and community has been unbelievable. They have covered our family in prayers, brought food, given money and gifts, sent cards, and given an abundant amount of encouragement, and continue to do so.

People that we have never met have stepped in to offer any support that we need. There are people that we may never meet that are giving support in ways we will never know about. There is no possible way I can send a thank you to everyone that has helped our family in some way or another (though I have tried when I know who they are).

Clay City Elementary faculty, staff, students, parents and community, please know that we appreciate everything.

This journey that started in December has been very hard on our family, but with the support of loving friends, and God watching over us, we are making it through this difficult time. Again, thank you so much for everything you have been doing. Keep the prayers coming!
