Spring has sprung for the Sartors
It is day eight since Paul's surgery. We, his family, are very happy that he is seemingly doing as well as can be expected to date. I plucked a beautiful yellow daffodil from the front yard and presented it to him with the mail yesterday. He dropped the spring flower at my feet and laid the mail aside, opting to smell roses and snooze. I have not been sleeping well. The time is 3:32 a.m. and here I am doing one of my favorite things to do, wide awake and connecting with you -- a lovely way to begin a new day.
