The Clay County Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. tonight in the lower level of the Clay County Historical Society Museum.

The guest speaker will be Charles T. Hall accompanied by Maxine Payne from Indianapolis.

Charles T. (Teddy) Hall is Charles B. Hall's son. He will speak about his father and his military career with the Tuskegee Airmen. Payne is Charles B.'s first wife and his plane was named after her.

Teddy will carry the torch in the Bicentennial Torch Run, which comes through Clay County in September, in memory of his father. Charles B. was also inducted in the Indiana Veteran's Military Hall of Fame in November and Teddy accepted that honor.

The museum has a display in the main display lobby of the museum in honor of Charles B. Hall.

The public is invited to our monthly meetings and share with us the love of history.

The museum is open Monday through Friday from 1 to 4 p.m., and special group tours are available by calling the museum during business hours.
