Keep the pop tabs coming

To the editor:

I got this phone call.

Past commander, VFW, says, “Hey, what do you want me to do with these tabs?”

I reply real fast, “I’m on my way — be right there ... McDonald House needs the tabs and I will personally haul them to Indy when we get together this million.”

I’ve personally hauled five million thus far and asking everyone for their tabs for McDonald so that loved ones who can’t pay or need that little extra to stay there while their child is in a nearby hospital will benefit from those we can deliver.

Thanks Bob and VFW. Keep calling and we’ll keep hauling.

Folks, we don’t ask for your money, only your pop cans and tabs and with the price down on the metals we need all we can collect.

Our church buys the large bags to ship in and we come up with donated hauling. Get a true blessing knowing you are helping provide rice for the Haiti children.
