Three volunteers took the oath of office to become Court Appointed Special Advocates on Thursday. Pictured, from left, are Clay Circuit Court Judge Joseph Trout, and volunteers Terry Barr, Becky Jeffers, and Cara Ross. There are now 31 volunteers in the program, and Assistant Director Vanessa Montgomery said she hopes an additional 10-15 volunteers will be trained this year. The next class will be in September.
