Davis-Zeller apartments officially open
Mayor Brian Wyndham (right) and Jim Bosley, owner of New Hope Services of Jeffersonville cut the ribbon to officially open Davis-Zeller Place. The company currently has 48 units and half of those have been leased as living space, Bosley said. Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch (standing to the right of the Mayor,) said “Gov. Holcomb and I are extremely proud of Brazil for all you are doing.” The Mayor gave credit to Toni Carter was being instrumental to starting the project. In addition to the old junior high school, where the ribbon cutting was held, the former Davis Building on the corner of National Avenue and Meridian Street is owned by New Hope Services and is also leasing apartments.
