Seeking artists and artisans for Sept. 13-14 third annual Greenlight Arts Festival

Artists are invited to participate in the third annual Greenlight Art Festival hosted by Putnam County Comprehensive Svcs. Inc. located at 630 Tennessee St, Greencastle. The outdoor event will take place Friday, September 13th from 5-9 p.m. and Saturday September 14th from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The art show and sale is open to artists who create works in 2-D and 3-D media such as ceramics, paintings, photography, drawings, glass, jewelry, digital art, metal art and woodworking. There will also be space available for Hoosier artisans specializing in handcrafted candles, soaps, signs etc. Artists are required to bring their own table and tent.

The event is free to artists but you must register due to limited space.

Hands-on activities and demonstrations, food trucks, live music and a Friday night concert featuring War Radio will highlight the weekend activities. An overnight security guard will be provided. The event will be centrally located adjacent to Robe Ann Park and visible from Tennessee St, Veterans Memorial Highway and US Highway 231.

The Greenlight Art Festival located at 630 Tennessee St, Greencastle has been growing steadily, and we expect a spike in attendance as we move to an outdoor street setting.
