Farris wins Forest Park golf title for 16th time

Troy Farris won the Forest Park Club Championship his 16th time dating back to 1992 on Sunday.

Troy Farris won the Forest Park Club Championship his 16th time dating back to 1992 on Sunday.

Farris, the Forest Park Golf Course Superintendent/Director, edged Eric Trusler by two strokes (133-135) to win the championship flight.

Trusler fired a 66 to lead Farris by one stroke following play on Saturday, but Farris carded a 66 to Trusler’s 69 on Sunday.

Other flight winners were Michael Moore (first flight) and Brandon Robinson (second flight).
