Clay County CASA‘a is having the 3rd Annual Mistletoe Market at North Clay Middle School this Saturday, Nov 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Santa will be there, they will have concessions. It is a fundraiser for Clay County CASA Kids. Vendor space is available also. Call Lindsey Mershon, 812-263-6317 for more information.

Main Street by Moonlight will start at 6 p.m., December 7th. If your business is participating, call Lindsey Mershon, 812-236-6317 and she will help you promote the event.

Jenni Marietta State Farm Insurance office will be offering assistance to shoppers at the Brazil Kroger on Sunday, November 24th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Knightsville Chapter 238, Order of Eastern Star is presenting “The Grinch,” “The Christmas Tree Ship” dinner and “Polar Express” at Centennial Lodge, 5845 N. S.R. 59, Brazil, on December 7, starting at 2 p.m. .

There is a suggested donation for tickets. Those donations will be made to the Eastern Star Service Dog Project and Chapter 238.

An OES representative will be at the Brazil Public Library in the foyer from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on December 2 or see Mildred Cooley or email Steven Cooley at mrcooley@live.com.

Local non-profit organizations will be featured at the November 26 meeting of the Clay County Chamber of Commerce. It will be at noon in the YMCA Community Room. Lunch costs $10. Please bring a box of cereal for the Clay County Youth Food Delivery Program.

Brazil Public Library invites you to “How to Make Christmas Cupcake Candles” on December 3, at 6 pm. They make an ideal decoration or gift for the season. RSVP by Nov. 30,’19 by calling 812-448-1981 for this Adult Program.

On November 28th at 8 a.m. the Clay County YMCA will host its annual Turkey Trot 5k run/walk. This race, which has quickly become a tradition in the Wabash Valley, is expected to bring in over 200 racers.

The Alzheimer’s Association Greater Indiana Chapter hosts support groups across the state for unpaid care partners, family members and friends of individuals living with Alzheimer’s and other dementia. The groups meet on the first Wednesday of the month at 10 a.m. at the Vigo County Public Library, Terre Haute.
