Club News: The Jackson Township Better Homes Extension Club

The Jackson Township Better Homes Extension Club held their November 21 meeting at the Extension Office, hosted by Martha Knox, president.

She called the meeting to order with Rose Mary Price leading the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag and Homemakers Creed.

For devotions, Martha read an article, “AAADD (Age-Activated Attention Deficit Disorder)” from the book, “Help, Lord! I’m having a senior moment.”

Four members ansswer roll call by saying a blessing that begins with the initial of their first or last name.

“Over the River and Through the Woods” was sung by the group.

The secretary and treasurer reports were read by Rose Mary and approved.

Coins for Friendship and Nickels for Leadership were collected. Glenna Ogbornand Mary Kent were present also.

The Christmas get together will be December 6, noon, at Sara Jane’s Restaurant.
