CLAY COUNTY THROUGH THE YEARS: Robert Wallace Coffey, Sr. - Charter Member of Elks

Robert Wallace Coffey, Sr., age seventy-nine passed away on his birthday. He had been a farmer, engineer, and lawyer. He was one of the last two living charter members of the Brazil Lodge of Elks. Mr. Coffey died Wednesday afternoon, November 27, 1957, at a hospital in Evansville, Vanderburgh County, Indiana. He was also one of the oldest surviving alumni of Brazil High School.
