BREAKING - BPD searching for a Brazil man wanted on warrant

BRAZIL POLICE DEPARTMENT PHOTO - The Brazil Police Department is currently looking for Ronald W. Cottrill II, 35, Brazil, who is presumed to be armed with a handgun. Cottrill is wanted on a felony warrant for criminal confinement, unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon, criminal recklessness committed with a deadly weapon and domestic battery issued by Clay Superior Court. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Ronald W. Cottrill II is asked to contact the Clay County Sheriff's Department Dispatch immediately at (812) 446-2535 ext.5.

The Brazil Police Department is asking for public assistance in locating a Brazil man involved in a recent domestic-related incident during which he allegedly displayed a gun.

Ronald W. Cottrill II, 35, Brazil, is presumed to be armed with a handgun. Officers have been unable to locate him Thursday afternoon.

Cottrill is wanted on a felony warrant for charges of criminal confinement, unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon, criminal recklessness committed with a deadly weapon and domestic battery issued by Clay Superior Court.
