Notices due to COVID-19

The Brazil Times has been notified of the following changes, postponements, cancelations due to COVID-19 concerns:

Clay County Sheriff Paul Harden announced the Clay County Justice Center will not be allowing any outside visitors to the Jail Facility until further notice. However, video visitation is still available, and the Lobby will remain open to the public.

Area nursing home facilities have enacted visitation restrictions during this outbreak. For more information, contact the facility you are planning to visit to learn more.

Clay Community School Corporation has announced the postponement of these events until after spring break:

• Clay City High School Winter Athletic Awards

• Northview High School Winter Sports Awards Program

• Northview’s “The Wizard of Oz” Spring Musical

• Academic Honors Awards Banquet

• Hoops for Hope Key Club Fundraiser
