Museum Closed/Programs Canceled

Monday, March 16, 2020

The Clay County Historical Society is postponing our Spring Opening at this time, while we monitor circumstances concerning the COVID-19 crisis. The April 6 meeting is canceled and the museum will remain closed until a later date.

When we open, we will be featuring the 100th Anniversary of the Women’s Sufferage Movement in a special display at the museum. Our three Little Free Libraries will be stocked and available for use for the children to use while school is out.

Those are located in the Museum Legacy Park, Forest Park at the Historic Cabins and at the Center Point Genealogical Society. More information will be released as it becomes available. If you have any questions you may call 812-443-1844.
