In a time of social distancing and fear of the coronavirus, First Christian Church wants to make it possible for churches to gather. On March 22nd, First Christian Church will be holding an event titled “Drive-In Church” and “Online Church.”

Drive-In Church will allow their congregation and our community to gather together in one parking lot and hear the message of Jesus. At 10 a.m, Senior Minister Chris Gregg, will be holding a church service from on top of a scissor lift with the audio broadcasting over an FM transmitter. There will be music, communion, preaching, laughs, social distancing, and so much more. They are aiming for the service to be about 45 minutes long. Everything will start at 10 a.m., but it will take some time to park everyone, so please be sure to arrive early.

First Christian Church is also working to provide an online service for people in our community and beyond! At 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, the church will have a live broadcast of a church service going on at https://fccbrazil.online.church/. The times for Drive-In church and Online church are staggered to give everyone the ability to gather for both. Online Church will also have an instant messaging function that allows people to communicate with each other during the service and after.

If other churches are interested in holding their own drive-in church services, call the First Christian Church office at (812)446-2214.
