Volunteers at the American Legion Post #2, 10 North Depot Street, Brazil, were frantically packing free grilled tenderloin lunches last Friday as the line for the drive-thru event backed up for blocks. Organizers for the event said they provided more than 200 lunches in 30 minutes before noon, which was when the event officially started. The Legion has been providing free lunches on Fridays (staring at noon) to anyone in need during the recent COVID-19 pandemic as a way to give back to the community who has always supported veterans.
