When asked about Probable Deaths from COVID-19 – which the ISDH defines as a death where a patient had no testing performed, but are considered suspicious by doctors – Hyatt said there have been testing performed at the request of medical personal after a death that might have been COVID-19 related. However, Hyatt explained, if the test came back positive it would be included in the county data.

No data with regards to Probable Deaths like being reported by the ISDH, currently listed at 134 throughout the state, have been made available locally.
