Years participating in the sport: 4 years

Parents/Guardians: Tim and Candi Thiel

Future plans: Attend USI (University of Southern Indiana) in the fall and major in chemistry. I also plan on joining their competitive running club.

Favorite memory: When we did a mile repeat workout in the freezing rain while wearing just my racing jersey and shorts.

Biggest inspiration: My biggest inspiration is Cam Trout. But another source of motivation was not letting my coaches down.

What you love most about your team: Our ability to work together on hard workouts and races.

Coach Mark Raetz on Thiel: Tucker is another four-year member of our track team. Tucker always has a smile on his face and is one of the nicest kids I’ve ever met. I’ve never heard anyone say a bad thing about him. A high character, high integrity kid. I know he’ll be successful in college.”
